PTA-Adhoc: Dr. Hönle AG: Hönle Specifies Forecast

Gräfelfing/München (pta021/26.04.2019/10:50) - The Management Board expects the Hönle Group to reach the lower end of the previously communicated target corridor of Eur 115 to Eur 130 million in revenue and Eur 22 to Eur 30 million in operating profit in the 2018/2019 financial year.
The reason for the specification of the forecast are high-volume orders in the Adhesives segment, which, according to our major customers, are likely to be worse than initially assumed. In addition, the realization of adhesive projects which we already had expected in the current financial year, will be postponed to the next financial year.
Revenue and earnings in the Equipment & Systems segment are also expected to be lower in the 2018/2019 financial year, compared with the previous year. This statement is based on continued lower order income, especially from the printing industry.
In the Glass & Lamps segment, a positive sales and earnings development is expected.
A high order backlog at Raesch Quarz (Germany) GmbH will contribute to this development. Furthermore, higher sales in the field of ballast water treatment will lead to good business development at UV Technik Speziallampen GmbH and Aladin GmbH.
The Management Board is optimistic about the future, as ongoing projects, particularly in the Adhesives segment, indicate that the Hönle Group will be able to exceed its operating result in the 2019/2020 financial year, compared with the strong 2017/2018 financial year.
The figures for the first six months of the financial year 2018/2019 will be published on 17 May 2019.
